Big Merv headlines AST's impressive team of Tour Hosts. As a spearhead of Australia’s back-to-back series wins in England in 1989 & 1993, Merv brings a wealth of knowledge in mastering English conditions - and with his finger still well & truly on Australian cricket’s pulse, his colourful contribution at daily briefings is every bit as insightful as it is entertaining. There are few larger characters in Australian Test Cricket folklore.

GEOFF MARSH

Geoff "Swampy" Marsh is one of Australia’s most respected opening batsmen and, more recently, one of its most famous cricketing fathers. A 50-Test veteran and fellow member of the infamous 1989 “worst team ever to tour England” (which won 4-0!), Geoff adds an enormous calibre of expertise to the team of Tour Hosts for 2019. Among many career highlights including his match-winning century in the 1987 World Cup Final, Geoff’s pedigree is etched in Ashes history courtesy of his still unbeaten 329-run opening partnership with Mark Taylor at Trent Bridge.
