Hong Kong

Hong Kong, the cosmopolitan gateway to southern China, has long held a reputation as a shopping mecca. There's much more to Hong Kong than retail therapy, however; make sure to allow enough time to ride the famous Star Ferry and admire the panoramic views of China's mainland from Victoria Peak. Explore Stanley's seaside sights and central's antique district, stroll through Kowloon's backstreets and nibble on the local delicacy, dim sum (yum cha). Families (or the young at heart), be sure to enjoy Hong Kong's Disneyland, or if you want to experience Portugal's colonial-era history take the Jetcat ferry to Macau. The amazing variety of experiences on offer means that every traveller will be captivated by Hong Kong.
