Small Group Active Adventures up-close and personal

According to Back Track Adventures, our planet is made for adventure, and what better way to see it than with an active, up-close and personal experience? Moroccan magic comes to life on a Back Track Adventure...

Since 1984, Back Track has been an active leader in the Adventure Travel Industry worldwide. You’re invited to join a Back Track Adventures holiday and truly experience the destination you visit. Forget the tired tourist trails, go Back Track and feel inspired and energised by the experience.

For 20 days you can wander through mysterious souqs (bazaars), ancient Roman ruins, and quaint villages. Walk easy trails in the Atlas Mountains, venture by camel into the never ending sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, enjoy the hospitality, food and music of nomads, travel the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs and then relax on an Atlantic Ocean beach.

Add to all this an exploration of such legendary cities as Marrakech, Meknes and Fes and you will have completed a fascinating adventure holiday in mysterious Morocco.

Stay in neat, clean, comfortable, well located and secure hotels (Tourist class 2-3 star), most with private facilities. Back Track's chosen hotels are family owned and each has its own unique ‘character’, ensuring you have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the local people, cultures and stories.

A unique aspect of this holiday is a 4 night trek in the mountains and 2 nights in the desert which will give you another opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and experience a lifestyle unchanged in a 100 years. The 4 night trek is only a moderate grade and easily achievable by anyone in good health.
