Canada

The second largest country in the world, yet with a population of only 30 million, Canada is a country of wide open spaces and offers a world of contrasts - modern cities rich in art and culture are on the doorstep of rugged mountain ranges and the great outdoors.

Canada's west contains some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, the harbour front cities of Vancouver and Victoria, the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains with picturesque Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper, and the stampede city of Calgary.

In the east visit the cosmopolitan cities of Toronto, Montreal and Québec, the capital Ottawa and thundering Niagara Falls. Experience the history of the St. Lawrence River region and the rugged coastlines of the Maritime Provinces.

In the north view the polar bears and beluga whales of Manitoba or wonder at the unspoilt beauty and fascinating Gold Rush history of the Yukon.

If it's a tour by coach, rail, sea kayak or horseback, or you prefer the independence of your own car or motorhome, Adventure World can arrange it all as the leader in travel to Canada.

Alaska

Alaska is a land of almost unimaginable scale, bigger than the next three largest States in the USA combined. When planning your trip to Alaska, be sure to allow enough time to enjoy the areas you've always wanted to see and the things you want to do. Adventure World has a wide range of holiday ideas to cater for every traveller.

Cruise Alaska's Inside Passage on a ship small enough to get truly close to whales, wildlife and glaciers, combined with visits to quaint towns steeped in history. Travel the legendary McKinley Explorer railcars through Alaska's breathtaking interior, past awesome Mt. McKinley, North America's tallest mountain, in Denali National Park & Preserve.

Relive the days of the gold rush or take a Sternwheeler cruise in Fairbanks or cross the Arctic Circle on a tour visiting the fascinating communities of Prudhoe Bay, Nome or Barrow in Alaska's far north.

Anchorage, the largest city in the state is the perfect base to spend a few nights and take flightseeing tours by floatplane or a full day excursion to Prince William Sound. Anchorage is also home to two of the best attractions in Alaska – the Alaska Native Heritage Centre and the world-class Anchorage Museum.

Explore the great outdoors on a self-drive tour or for total independence consider renting a motorhome where you have the freedom to choose when and where you want to stop and for how long. Alaska has something for everyone so let Adventure World the experts on Alaska help plan and arrange your dream itinerary.

USA

No matter what your interest, the USA has something for everyone, from theme parks to the National Parks, from beautiful beaches to big cities; there is a myriad of things to choose from when planning a visit to the USA.

Adventure World offers a huge range of USA holiday activities, including coach tours, car and motorhome rental, cruises, small group camping adventures and a broad selection of hotels from coast to coast including the sun-drenched Hawaiian Islands.

The west coast gateway cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco are well worth experiencing, even as a stopover if your main holiday destination is Canada or Alaska. In Los Angeles be sure to check out the coastal cities of Santa Monica and Venice Beach and no visit would be complete without taking in the glamour of Hollywood and a tour of Universal Studios.

Why not combine Los Angeles with some time in Anaheim, home of the Disneyland Resort. From Anaheim a wide selection of tours are available including San Diego Zoo or Sea World San Diego.

The 'City by the Bay', San Francisco is one of the most spectacular cities in the world. Explore the world class shopping in Union Square, then take a fun-filed cable car ride to the famous Fisherman's Wharf for a Bay cruise. Why not enjoy a guided cycling tour across the Golden Gate Bridge?

This is just one of Adventure World's enormous selection of San Francisco sightseeing options. Travelling in the USA is hassle-free, with an incredible network of freeways making a self-drive holiday a breeze and inexpensive airfares connecting all major cities across the country. Featured in the brochure is a selection of Adventure World's most popular USA holidays.
