Cruising the Kimberley in north Western Australia has taken on an exciting new feature – beach camping! One Tide Charters on the Kimberley Explorer, a 15 metre purpose-built catamaran, offers a unique beach camping eco expedition for travellers who have a sense of adventure. By day you will spend your time cruising the islands and coastline, stopping off to explore, swim, fish or just gaze in wonder. At night you will sleep under a million stars on either a secluded beach with a roaring fire or you can roll out your swag on board Kimberley Explorer - the choice is yours.
Highlights include the Prince Regent River, Sale River, Montgomery Reef and the Horizontal Waterfalls, with ample time to incorporate land excursions, and time to relax on remote beaches.
Activities include fishing, swimming, sightseeing and exploring, mud crabbing, beach, bush and reef walking and observing the bird and marine life of the Buccaneer Archipelago.
All cruises include a jet board ride through the magnificent Horizontal Waterfalls.
Trips are fully catered for with superb cuisine, such as fresh fish, oysters and mud crabs. Prices include all meals, camping equipment, bedding, fishing gear, crabbing nets and bait. All you need do is BYO alcohol.
