Travel overland from Cairo through western Egypt’s remote Siwa Oasis, Libya’s great Roman cities of Cyrene, Leptis Magna and Sabratha - plus the fascinating oasis city of Ghadames - through southern Tunisia via Matmata, Tozeur and the mountain oases into Algeria.

From Algiers, visit the Roman city of Djemila and the picturesque city of Constantine before crossing into northern Tunisia at El Djem. Continue via Roman Sufetula, the Holy City of Kairouan and El Djem Colosseum to Tunis and ancient Carthage.
