There is no better way to travel the Australian Outback than in the air-conditioned comfort of the Makin’ Tracks coach, with luxurious seats and plenty of space for a maximum of 9 passengers. The coach is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art communication and safety equipment as well as water purification and energy management systems.

The Makin' Tracks team is there to serve you and sets up camp, prepares meals and cleans up ensuring you have the time to enjoy the magnificent Australian bush.

On most days travel time is limited to 4 or 5 hours with the remainder of the day exploring with our expert local guides, discovering the delights of a new town or enjoying the peace and tranquility of a remote bush location.

Meals are of the highest quality using fresh ingredients and prepared by a qualified chef who accompanies each tour.

Vehicles
Our purpose built MAN 4wd coach is specially designed to handle the extreme road conditions encountered on the journey. It is packed full of features including high vehicle elevation and large panoramic windows which provide exceptional viewing, luxurious leather reclining seats, satellite telephone and internet connection for emergency use, on-board lounge area and dining area, flushing toilet, shower, vanity and dressing room, TV screens for DVD, GPS map images and front camera viewing as well as 2 mountain bikes and a 2 person canoe.

Accommodation
Makin' Tracks tours provides a good mix of remote bush camping with all the luxuries and motel or Cabin-style accommodation including pub stays in some of the most legendary pubs in Australia.

Makin' Tracks camps in some of the most picturesque locations in Australia and aims to offer as many remote bush camps as possible, but also includes National Parks, State Forests and outback stations.

Outback Pubs - 7 Days, 6 Nights
This tour departs from Broken Hill and takes in some of the most remote pubs in Australia and the magnificent sights along the way. Our accommodation is in the famous Hotels and you spend the days touring and visiting some of the main attractions, often stopping at a watering hole or two along the way. Highlights include Birdsville, Big Red and the Simpson, Innamincka, Tibooburra, Paralchina, Broken Hill, Maree, and Mungerannie

The Red Centre - 12 Days, 11 Nights
This magnificent tour departs from Alice Springs and visits the main Red Centre attractions as well as some remote and beautiful locations that offer peace and solitude in which to enjoy the natural beauty - Chambers Pillar, Finke River, Old Andado Station, Uluru, The Olgas, Kings Canyon, Mereenie Loop Rd, Palm Valley, and the West Mcdonnells.

The Kimberley - 16 Days, 15 Nights
