Tonga Whale Encounters View Basket

These Eco Tours take personalised groups of no more than 8 people to the turquoise waters of Ha'apai between the months of July and October for an experience that will live in your memory forever. You hop on the boat at roughly 8am, you will then head out to find your first whale. If the conditions are right and the whale is happy for us to jump in, your guide will enter the water with no more than four guests and calmly swim you nice and close to this amazing creature. You are welcome to bring your camera in with you but don't forget to take in every single minute as this is an experience you will never forget.

There are two tours, one in Tonga for 7 nights (8 days) and one coming soon, starting in Fiji and finishing in Tonga from 10 nights.

Snorkel gear

Fins, snorkels and wet suits are available free of charge, however you are encouraged to bring your own if possible for comfort and correct fit.

11 Night Tour, Fiji & Tonga

Why not have the best of both worlds? Start your tour snorkelling the pristine coral reefs of Fiji, home to turtles, reef sharks and multi hued reef fish. Here you will have time to relax with a book or a cocktail at sunset. There is also incredible diving for the adventurous ones or you can visit the surrounding islands. Next, fly to Tonga where the whales are waiting for you. Spend the rest of your trip in beautiful beach front bungalows just meters away from where your boat will pick you up for your whale swimming adventures.
