For 19 days, Bhutan will open up to you in all its glory as you trek along lofty trails, past herds of grazing yak, over mountain passes and into remote, heavily forested valleys. The trek is graded challenging and will suit those with a sound level of walking fitness, a willingness to ‘rough it’ if required and an intention to undertake some fitness training prior to departure.

But you'll also spend 5 days enjoying the local sights, whilst staying in comfortable hotels. During these non-trekking days, drive through spectacularly rugged countryside while visiting old fortress monasteries, museums and local markets.

Your trek leader from Australia and the local, English speaking guide will strive to ensure that you truly experience the areas you visit in an up close and personal manner, in comfortable style - and at a comfortable pace.
